Examination System at C.Kandaswami Naidu College for Women

C.Kandaswami Naidu College for Women is affiliated with Annamalai University, Chidambaram, and follows the university’s guidelines for conducting examinations.

University Examinations

• The end-semester examinations are conducted directly by Annamalai University as per the university’s schedule.
• These examinations are held department-wise in alphabetical order every academic year.

College-Conducted Examinations

In addition to university examinations, the college conducts Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA) tests to evaluate students’ academic progress:

1. CIA I (First Internal Assessment) – Conducted by the college as part of internal evaluation.
2. CIA II (Second Internal Assessment) – Another internal test to track students’ performance before the final semester exams.
3. Model Examinations – A preparatory test designed to help students perform well in university examinations.
